A Monday Mini Moan:
After a lovely day of swimming with my VBC ladies (thank you!) I was very much looking forward to washing my hair.
So there I am enjoying my nice hot shower (something of a luxury these days) when I reach over for my shampoo, squirt it onto my hand and what comes out? Nothing but water and bubbles. It seems my imaginative 4 year old has been confusing my very expensive shampoo bottle for a bath toy. Not the first time I might add – the last bubble bath and shower gel also met their ends this way.
Still, there I am, hair already wet and dripping on the floor as I search fruitlessly in the cupboard for another bottle, and I realise I have 2 choices – use baby shampoo or men’s body and hair wash! Well, who wants their hair to smell the same as their husband’s body – I opted for the baby shampoo.
It will be interesting to see what it’s like when it’s dry – if nothing else my cradle cap should be better!!
